ArcISo (Arctic Integrated Solutions) is a company developing numerical tools for analysing and simulating the effects of sea ice and glacial ice on Arctic offshore and coastal structures. Main product is SAMS - Simulator for Arctic Marine Structures. ArcIso is a spin-off company of NTNU.
USFOS AS was formed in 2003 as a spin-off from SINTEF to continue support to existing and new USFOS users. USFOS is the leading computer program for collapse analyses and accidental load analyses of fixed offshore structures, intact or damaged.
EMGS was in 2002 the first company to successfully apply marine CSEM technology to the search for hydrocarbons. Since then, the company have successfully commercialized the technology and turned it into an effective, environmentally benign exploration method that can significantly increase drilling success rates.
